The political dynasty of Indonesia's 7th President, Joko Widodo, is currently a hot topic of discussion among public policy observers. Muhammad Said Didu, former Secretary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), publicly stated that Jokowi's political influence is undergoing a significant decline through a series of recent developments.

In an analysis shared via social media platform X on Wednesday (7/8/2026), Said Didu dissected three main indicators considered signals of the weakening of that political power. One crucial point he highlighted was the change in law enforcement patterns, specifically regarding the controversy over Jokowi's alleged fake diploma, which is now considered to be running more objectively.

Said Didu gave concrete examples such as the non-detention of parties previously involved in the case, such as Roy Suryo and Dr. Tifa. In addition, the granting of Roy Suryo's pretrial motion was considered proof that the legal process is returning to its proper track without significant intervention.

In addition to law enforcement aspects, Said Didu highlighted the condition of businesses run by Jokowi's children, namely Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep. He observed that various business units that were previously popular are now rarely heard from or suspected of having ceased operations.

Several business names such as Chilli Pari, Markobar, as well as dozens of business entities owned by Kaesang such as Sang Pisang and TernakKopi were said to have declined. He even questioned the validity of these companies' past business models, including the matter of large investment capital injections they had received.

The final indicator presented was the emergence of public resistance to Jokowi's political safari agenda in several regions. This phenomenon, according to Said Didu, is a clear reflection that Jokowi's political bargaining power is no longer as dominant as it was a few years ago.

To date, Jokowi's family and other related parties have not provided an official response regarding this assessment. Said Didu's statement serves as the personal view of a public analyst on ongoing national political dynamics.
