Regional Political Academy II, under the auspices of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, continues to solidify its position as the most strategic political education and research institution in southern Vietnam. In an evaluation meeting for the first half of 2026, the institution outlined a series of significant achievements, ranging from strengthening international cooperation with Laos to implementing active learning methods focused on critical discussion and case studies.
Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Minh Huan, expressed high appreciation for the academy's dedication and internal stability. He emphasized that in facing a new era of development, educational institutions must be capable of transforming into collaborative spaces where lecturers and students jointly create new knowledge value relevant to modern needs.
The major strategy moving forward focuses on six main directions, including strengthening research capacity with a direct impact on public policy. The southern region of Vietnam, with its rapid economic dynamics and urban governance, is viewed as an ideal practical laboratory. This potential is expected to be optimized to produce high-quality research capable of making tangible contributions to both regional and central development.
Beyond academic aspects, the meeting also addressed operational and mechanical challenges. Leadership at Regional Political Academy II submitted various recommendations regarding bureaucratic reform, training management systems, and infrastructure facility upgrades. In response, central leadership committed to promptly reviewing and formulating solutions to these obstacles to support the accelerated development of the institution.
In closing, all staff members were encouraged to move away from conventional mindsets and boldly make creative breakthroughs. A proactive spirit within valid policy corridors remains the key to enabling Regional Political Academy II to transform into a political theory hub that is not only regionally competitive, but also highly credible on the international stage.
