The South Tangerang (Tangsel) City Government has achieved another national milestone. At the Warta Kota Awards 2026, the Tangsel City Government was honored with an award in the Digital Technology-Based Public Service Innovation category for their success in integrating bureaucratic systems into a more efficient digital platform.

The award was received directly by the Regional Secretary of South Tangerang City, Bambang Noertjahjo, representing Mayor Benyamin Davnie in Jakarta on Monday (6/7/2026). Bambang emphasized that this appreciation serves as a catalyst for the Tangsel City Government to continue accelerating bureaucratic reform through the use of information technology.

As a dynamic urban area, Bambang explained that digitalization in South Tangerang is no longer just a complement, but a fundamental necessity to meet the expectations of a society increasingly adaptive to technological advancements. His side views digitized systems as capable of streamlining bureaucratic processes to be more transparent, fast, and easily accessible to all residents.
