The Subang Regency Government, together with the Indonesian Technology Innovation Foundation (INOTEK) and Sampoerna untuk Indonesia, is stepping up capacity-building efforts for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). A total of 82 entrepreneurs spread across 19 villages are currently receiving intensive mentoring to strengthen their business foundations and enhance competitiveness in both local and national markets.

The majority of participants in this program come from the culinary sector, which has long been the economic backbone of the Subang region. These business owners are provided access to comprehensive training, ranging from strengthening entrepreneurial mindsets and legal compliance to drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with modern market demands.

In addition to conventional business management, the program equips participants with deep digital literacy. The training modules cover digital marketing strategies, brand identity development, and the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for business optimization. Mentoring is conducted via a hybrid approach, combining online and offline sessions to ensure effective implementation.

Subang Deputy Regent Agus Masykur Rosyadi emphasized that strategic collaboration between the private sector and the government is crucial for local economic empowerment. He expressed hope that this initiative could serve as a role model for MSME development in other regions, enabling business owners to not only survive but also expand into broader markets.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of INOTEK Ivi Anggraeni stressed that the true indicator of the program's success lies in real-world field implementation. Her organization remains committed to guiding MSME entrepreneurs so that all learned materials can be translated into concrete steps to improve product quality and daily business management efficiency.
