The recreation, sports, and culture sector in Aceh Tamiang Regency showed an upward trend in expenditure in June 2026. According to the latest data released by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for this category reached 128.07, a slight increase from the previous month's level of 127.8.
On a month-to-month basis, the inflation rate in the recreation and sports subsector was recorded at 0.21 percent. Although this figure still indicates an increase, the result represents a slowdown compared to May 2026, which reached 1.08 percent.
Furthermore, BPS noted that the recreation, sports, and culture group contributed 0.08 percent to regional inflation in Aceh Tamiang out of the twelve inflation categories monitored. On a year-on-year basis, this sector experienced a cumulative inflation rate of 6.01 percent, while year-to-date inflation reached 6.76 percent.
On a national comparative scale, Aceh Tamiang's position regarding inflation in this sector ranked 46th out of 68 regencies/cities monitored by BPS. This condition reflects local economic dynamics influenced by public consumption patterns in entertainment, sports, and cultural activities amidst ongoing macroeconomic challenges.
