The North Kuta Police, through the Samapta Unit, carried out intensive security operations in the tourist area of Batu Bolong Beach, Canggu Village, Badung. The activity, which took place on Wednesday (1/7/2026) in the early hours, was focused on monitoring the security situation as visitors began to disperse from various nightlife venues.
Led by the Acting Unit Commander of Samapta, Police Warrant Officer I Wayan Mendra, police personnel not only monitored the area around bars and restaurants but also managed traffic flow. This step was taken to prevent congestion and reduce the potential for traffic accidents on the relatively busy route.
North Kuta Police Chief, Commissioner I Ketut Sukadana, emphasized that dawn patrols are a crucial routine agenda for the comfort of the tourism area. The presence of officers on the ground is expected to provide a sense of security while restricting room for movement for criminals.
In addition to physical surveillance, officers also proactively issued advisories to tourists. Visitors were urged to remain vigilant about their valuable belongings to prevent opportunities for crime while in crowded areas or on their way home.
