The Pandeglang Regency Government remains committed to expanding access to education for underprivileged communities. This concrete step was demonstrated by the Regent of Pandeglang during a working visit to Ciduruk Hamlet, Gunung Putri Village, Banjar District, last Tuesday (21/7), to directly meet the student beneficiaries of the scholarship program.
During the visit, the Regent held a dialogue with two students who received the Sekolah Rakyat Program scholarship. In addition to motivating the students to remain enthusiastic about pursuing their dreams, the Regent also emphasized the importance of utilizing this educational assistance as a bridge to a better future.
Not only focusing on the education sector, the local government delegation also distributed social assistance to a number of residents in need in the local area. The distribution of this social assistance is expected to ease the economic burden of the beneficiary families and encourage the improvement of the welfare of the village community.
The Sekolah Rakyat Program itself is designed as a strategic instrument of the Pandeglang Regency Government to ensure that children from underprivileged families still receive their right to a decent education. Through this program, the government seeks to open wider opportunities for the younger generation to develop their potential.
The presence of the local government officials was warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by village officials, community leaders, and local residents. This working visit concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of synergy and collective commitment to advancing the quality of education in Gunung Putri Village.
