Member of the South Kalimantan Provincial Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Nor Fajri, S.E., went directly to the field to socialize Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 1 of 2025 concerning Health Administration. The activity, which took place on Friday (3/7/2026), targeted two strategic locations in Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) Regency, namely the working areas of the Alabio Health Center (Puskesmas) and the Babirik Hilir Tengah Health Center.
In the meeting, which was attended by community leaders, medical personnel, and local health workers, Nor Fajri explained the urgency of the new regulation as a local government legal instrument. This policy is expected to become the main foundation in creating a health service system that is not only of high quality but also inclusive and easily accessible to all levels of society.
The politician emphasized that the government's commitment to guaranteeing citizens' health covers a broad spectrum, ranging from promotional and preventive services to hospital referral procedures. According to him, the successful implementation of this regulation depends heavily on synergy between the government, health workers, and active community participation in conducting field monitoring.
Nor Fajri also opened a dialogue space for residents to convey the obstacles they face when accessing health services. He emphasized that the legislature is ready to act as a bridge for aspirations to ensure that the policy has a real impact on improving the health status of the community in Hulu Sungai Utara.
The enthusiasm of the participants was clearly visible through a dynamic Q&A session regarding the technicalities of services at the health centers. Going forward, such socialization is expected to continue regularly so that the community becomes increasingly critical and smart in utilizing the health rights guaranteed by the regional government.
