After successfully visiting three other major cities, electric vehicle manufacturer BYD is continuing its series of BYD Tech Culture Fest (TCF) 2026 events in Surabaya. Located at Pakuwon Mall, this event serves as an educational platform and a hands-on experience for the people of East Java regarding new energy vehicle technologies, which are increasingly in demand.

Luther Panjaitan, Head of Marketing, PR & Government Relations at PT BYD Motor Indonesia, explained that Surabaya was chosen due to its strategic position as a hub for mobility and industry. He noted that the diverse mobility characteristics of the community require a deep understanding of how *Electric Vehicle* (EV) and *Dual Mode* (DM) technologies can be relied upon for daily needs and challenging terrains.

During the event, visitors are invited to explore the 'Technology Zone', which provides in-depth information about BYD's core vehicle components, such as the Blade Battery and e-Platform. With guidance from experts, the public can understand the safety mechanisms, efficiency, and performance of the latest technology in a technical yet easily comprehensible way.

In addition to the educational aspect, the festival features a challenging Test Ride area. Through extreme obstacles such as uneven paths and a 35-degree incline, visitors can experience the durability of the DENZA B5 firsthand. Furthermore, a Test Drive area is available to try out various flagship BYD product lines, ranging from the BYD M6, Dolphin, and Seal, to the luxury DENZA D9 variant in real driving scenarios.
