Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) of the Republic of Indonesia, Erick Thohir, officially inaugurated two Senior Executive Officials within the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Friday (10/7) afternoon. This inauguration marks a strategic step in the ministry's efforts to undertake internal reform and improve the quality of the sports industry in Indonesia.

The two officials inaugurated are Suyadi Pawiro, entrusted with the mandate as Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Teuku Arlan Perkasa Lukman, serving as Deputy for Sports Industry Development. Erick Thohir emphasized that Suyadi is an internal figure who has long contributed to the ministry, while the position of Deputy for Sports Industry Development is considered crucial for the future of national sports.

In his directive, the Minister emphasized his expectation that the new officials bring positive change to governance and professional standards. He expressed his desire for the ministry to elevate its standing through the execution of programs that yield a tangible impact on the public and the national sports ecosystem.
