Excitement swept through the Leyangan Housing Estate area in Semarang Regency as thousands of residents packed the main street of the complex to participate in the "Gear Ultima Carnival" event. The activity, which took place throughout the weekend, was initiated by Yamaha together with the Harpindo Jaya Ungaran Dealer as a form of appreciation and entertainment for the local community.
A total of 1,300 residents of various age groups enthusiastically participated in the various competitions presented. Ranging from fun walks, coloring contests for children, karaoke, to agility challenges in the Ultima Race competition enlivened the weekend event.
PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg DDS 3 promoter, M Nindyarto Laksmana Praja, expressed his appreciation for the extraordinary participation of the East Leyangan Housing residents. He mentioned that one of the main attractions of the event was the Shopping Competition, where participants, especially mothers, were challenged to spend a certain amount of money on basic necessities and take home their purchases for free.
The shopping competition also served as an opportunity to prove the functionality of the Yamaha Gear Ultima scooter. One participant named Neneng admitted to being impressed by the spacious luggage capacity of the motorcycle and the presence of a double hook which greatly facilitates daily mobility, especially when carrying a lot of groceries.
In addition to providing entertainment, this activity also offered direct benefits through an affordable motorcycle servicing program. The head of RW 09 Leyangan Housing, Suryo, expressed his gratitude to the organizers because the program was considered very helpful in easing the economic burden of residents, alongside providing educational entertainment.
