The precious metals market recorded a downward price trend in trading on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. The price of gold bullion produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk or Antam was observed to fall by IDR 15,000 per gram compared to the previous day. Now, for 1-gram gold, investors need to prepare IDR 2,655,000.
A similar decline also occurred in the resale or buyback price. Antam set the buyback price at IDR 2,414,000 per gram, meaning investors intending to resell their gold will receive that value before tax deductions according to applicable regulations.
Based on official information from Antam's Precious Metal Processing and Refining Business Unit, gold prices vary starting from the smallest size of 0.5 grams priced at IDR 1,377,500 to the jumbo size of 1,000 grams priced at IDR 2,595,600,000. For medium sizes, 10-gram gold is sold for IDR 26,045,000, while the 100-gram size is offered at IDR 259,712,000.
It should be noted for investors that every Antam gold bar transaction is subject to income tax (PPh) in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017. Gold purchases are subject to PPh 22 of 0.45 percent for NPWP holders, and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Meanwhile, for buyback transactions over IDR 10 million, a PPh 22 deduction of 1.5 percent applies for NPWP holders and 3 percent for those without an NPWP.
