The country's entertainment stage is once again shrouded in grief. Senior comedian and actor Simson Rarameha Ngadang, better known as Temon, reportedly passed away on Sunday (12/7/2026) morning at around 08:42 WIB. The news of the legendary comedian's passing has been directly confirmed by his personal assistant, Febry.

Until now, the family has not released an official statement regarding the exact cause of death of the sitcom star. However, the deceased was known to have a history of high blood pressure during his lifetime. Currently, the deceased's body is being laid out at the funeral home located in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, after previously being brought from the hospital.

Deep condolences have poured in from fellow colleagues in the acting world. One of them came from Abdel Achrian, his close friend and loyal screen duet partner. Through his personal social media account, Abdel conveyed a touching farewell message to his late comedy partner.

During his career, Temon was known as a versatile artist. The alumnus of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia, began his journey in the entertainment industry as a radio announcer before eventually venturing into acting and comedy. His name skyrocketed nationally through the sitcom program titled "Abdel dan Temon Bukan Superstar". In addition to acting, Temon also tried his hand at singing by releasing a single titled "Raja Disko" in 2014.

The departure of this witty figure, who often brought laughter to the screen, leaves deep sadness for his family, relatives, and millions of fans who continue to remember his dedication and best works in the Indonesian creative industry.
