Indonesia's largest artificial intelligence community, AICO, operating under Zando Agency, has begun expanding into the entertainment sector through the launch of its newest application, HoWePlay. This technology is designed to create a more dynamic and personal social interaction experience for the general public.

The platform's debut took place during the Matchmaking Night event at Sing Sing, the newest business unit of Holywings, on Friday (10/7). A total of 100 participants joined as early users, testing an AI-based matchmaking system combined with BaZi, a Chinese astrology technique.

Using the technology is quite practical: visitors simply scan a QR code and enter their birth time data. The system then processes the data to automatically recommend compatibility between participants. The results are sent directly to each user's device, and the system even transparently displays the couple with the highest compatibility on the venue's main screen.

AICO Co-Founder Tommy Teja emphasized that HoWePlay reflects the company's ambition to shift the AI paradigm away from being viewed solely as a productivity tool. According to him, this technology has great potential to become an inclusive and accessible entertainment element for everyday people without needing to understand its technical complexities.

Echoing this sentiment, AICO Co-Founder Reynaldi Francois dismissed concerns that AI would alienate human interaction. On the contrary, he believes HoWePlay serves as a facilitator bridging relationships between individuals. AICO plans to expand the platform's reach to various sectors, including food and beverage (F&B), shopping centers, and other lifestyle events to provide a more personal and meaningful customer experience.
