The Balen District contingent successfully solidified their dominance in football at the Bojonegoro Regency Sports Week (Porkab) II 2026. This certainty was achieved after the Balen football team delivered a strong performance, defeating Ngraho District with a convincing 3-0 score in the final match held at the Lt. Gen. H. Soedirman Stadium on Tuesday (7/7/2026).
From the start of the match, the Balen squad immediately took the initiative to attack, putting pressure on the opposing defense. The aggressive strategy proved effective, making it difficult for Ngraho to develop their play until they ultimately had to concede Balen's superiority and take home the silver medal.
Vice Chairman of KONI Bojonegoro Regency, Tonny Ade Irawan, explained that in this competition, bronze medals were awarded to two districts, namely Baureno and Kepohbaru. This policy was adopted due to the high enthusiasm of participants involving 16 districts, leading the committee to establish a joint third-place system.
This match result intensifies the competition in the medal standings to claim the overall champion title at this year's Porkab II Bojonegoro event. Until the end of the match, the atmosphere in the stadium remained lively with support from spectators of each competing district.
