Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Trinh Thi Thuy, emphasized the importance of using practical effectiveness as the main benchmark in implementing the new national value system. This step aims to transform policy guidelines into real behavioral norms that touch the daily social lives of the people.
According to Trinh Thi Thuy, this strategic plan is a comprehensive effort that integrates national, cultural, family, and human values into a single solid framework. This approach places humans as the main subject, where the family serves as the foundation of character, while culture functions as a space for nurturing these values so they remain relevant in the era of modern development.
In its technical implementation, the Vietnamese government applies the "6 clear points" principle to ensure accountability: clarity regarding execution, tasks, authority, responsibility, timeline, and final results to be achieved. This method is designed to minimize bureaucratic formality and ensure that every ministry and region can run programs with measurable and evaluable targets.
Looking ahead to the 2026–2030 period, the relevant ministry has prepared three main groups of solutions. The focus includes raising public awareness through digital transformation, creating a healthy cultural ecosystem across various sectors, and strengthening periodic monitoring mechanisms. This step is expected to trigger a collective spiritual strength that accelerates sustainable national development.
Trinh Thi Thuy stressed that the success of this plan heavily depends on the consensus of all elements of society. She called on leaders at all levels to lead by example in practicing these values, while encouraging the active participation of citizens as the main pillar in preserving national identity amidst the currents of global change.
