In response to the viral information, BPJS Kesehatan finally spoke out. Through its official communication channels, the social security administrator firmly denied all claims. In an official statement, BPJS Kesehatan emphasized that there are no regulations or policies governing the reimbursement of travel operating expenses for patients. The benefits provided by BPJS Kesehatan have so far been limited to medical services in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations, not including transportation costs to the hospital.
