Commission VI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) has closely highlighted the cooperation scheme between Perum Perumnas and PT Telkomsel in the Samesta Mahata Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area in Depok. A specific working visit conducted on Friday (10/07/2026) served as a momentum for legislators to question the effectiveness of inter-SOE collaboration in delivering a tangible economic impact.

Member of Commission VI of DPR RI, Darmadi Durianto, firmly requested an in-depth explanation regarding the profit-sharing mechanism applied in the project. For him, synergy between state-owned enterprises should not merely be a formality, but a strategic instrument to strengthen the financial fundamentals of Perumnas, which is currently still struggling with fiscal challenges.

Furthermore, the DPR emphasized that the orientation of strategic partnerships between SOEs must have measurable and transparent profit parameters. This is considered crucial to ensure that every collaboration is capable of sustaining state enterprises' operational viability while providing an optimal contribution to national interests.
