Lingkung Gunung Adventure Camp has officially introduced 'Sanggar Alam', an educational tourism initiative integrating cultural values with the charm of the open nature. This program is designed to address the need for a recreational space that does not merely offer entertainment, but also a medium of learning for various age groups, ranging from children to corporate clients.
General Manager of Lingkung Gunung Adventure Camp, Zaidan Dzaki, revealed that the launch of this program is part of a strategic destination rebranding effort. Sanggar Alam comes with a vision to revitalize traditional culture so that it remains relevant in the modern era, making it a primary attraction for visitors who wish to vacation while learning about cultural heritage.
During the inaugural event held on Sunday (12/7/2026), participants were invited to interact directly with the cultural richness of West Java through traditional games, cassava puppet making techniques, and fish catching activities. The main focus of this program targets early childhood to instill a love for local traditions from an early age.
Furthermore, Zaidan explained that the curriculum designed by Sanggar Alam is highly adaptive. For children aged 5 to 12 years, the approach is directed more toward motor skill development through interactive games. For teenagers, the material will delve deeper into history, while for the corporate segment, the focus shifts to strengthening leadership and teamwork with a unique cultural approach.
Located in the Mount Gede Pangrango area, this facility is expected to serve as an alternative for parents to shift children's attention away from gadget dependency toward beneficial physical activities. Moving forward, the management plans to expand the scope of activities, such as traditional dance, stilts games, and 'mindful trekking' to build a stronger environmental awareness among tourists.
