Responding to these doubts, automotive industry players are now emphasizing the importance of technological transparency behind electric vehicle powertrains so that consumers can make more informed decisions.

Head of Public and Government Relations at PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Luther Panjaitan, stated that mastering the supply chain independently, from battery cell chemistry to software development, is key to the structural advantage of manufacturers today. This vertical approach is deemed capable of reducing technical risks often feared by prospective users, particularly regarding safety aspects.

One innovation in the spotlight is the Blade Battery technology. The flat cell design, arranged without intermediate modules, is claimed to minimize the risk of overheating or thermal runaway. In extreme tests such as steel nail punctures, this type of battery proved stable and did not trigger fire or smoke, addressing public concerns about fire risks in electric vehicle batteries.

In addition to safety aspects, energy efficiency remains a top priority. Through a platform that integrates the motor, battery, and drive system into a single unified system, long-distance travel between cities is claimed to be more efficient. This allows users to travel without being haunted by anxiety over suddenly running out of battery power.

In terms of the driving experience, Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology also makes a significant impact by integrating the battery directly into the vehicle's body structure. This innovation is claimed to lower the center of gravity, making the vehicle feel more stable during maneuvers and providing much more precise steering response compared to conventional battery placement methods.

Furthermore, the integration of smart systems such as DiLink and driver assistance features (DiPilot) also plays an important role in creating driving comfort. Various features such as automatic emergency braking and lane monitoring work intuitively in the background, ensuring supporting technology is present to assist the driver without excessively intervening in primary control.
