The national-scale exhibition event, Nusantara Food & Hotel (NFH) Expo 2026, officially opened in Hall 3 of the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang. Carrying the theme “Tap Into Indonesia’s Finest Delicacies”, the event running until July 12, 2026 serves as a catalyst for manufacturers, distributors, and business actors to strengthen the food, beverage, and hospitality industry ecosystem in Indonesia.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ni Luh Puspa, accompanied by several key stakeholders, including representatives from the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI), the Indonesian Catering Association (PPJI), and the Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP) Indonesia. The presence of these figures underscores the strategic position of the exhibition as a platform for cross-sector collaboration.
Rafidi Iqra Muhammad, Director of PT Debindo Global Expo as the organizer, emphasized that NFH Expo 2026 aims to boost the competitiveness of the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Cafe) sector through sustainable innovation. Echoing this sentiment, Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa appreciated the initiative, deeming it capable of delivering a real impact in strengthening the tourism industry through enhancing the quality of national culinary and hospitality services.
Throughout the four days of the event, visitors can access the latest industry solutions, ranging from food processing technology and professional kitchen equipment to hospitality operational systems from hundreds of well-known brands such as GEA GETRA, Lee Kum Kee, and Tofico. Beyond the trade exhibition, the event serves as a talent showcase through prestigious competitions such as the Nusantara Culinary Challenge and the Indonesia Brewers Championship (IBrC)-West Region.
One of the main highlights of this year's edition is the Spice Route educational installation developed in collaboration with the Negeri Rempah Foundation. This installation invites visitors to delve into the history and richness of Archipelago spices that form the foundation of national cuisine. In addition to the exhibition, a series of inspirational sharing sessions, cooking demonstrations, and workshops are presented to equip industry players with insights into the latest trends in both domestic and global markets.
