Renowned helmet manufacturer NHK Indonesia is preparing a strategic move to elevate the safety and comfort standards of their products. The company aims to make anti-fog features and RHD Lens—previously considered premium features—embedded in all of their helmet models within the next three years.

Marketing Director of NHK Indonesia, Johannes Cokrodiharjo, explained that this transformation is part of the ongoing evolution of the helmet industry. According to him, this innovation follows historical patterns in helmet technology, similar to the transition from simple mica visors to injection molding technology in the 90s.

Furthermore, Johannes compared this trend to the arrival of the anti-scratch feature, which was initially cutting-edge technology but has now become a mandatory standard for nearly all helmets on the market. He is optimistic that the adoption of anti-fog features will follow the same successful path, becoming a fundamental need for riders.

This step reflects NHK's commitment to responding to market demand for more functional riding gear. By making advanced features standard equipment, it is hoped that riders can enjoy better visibility and enhanced safety, particularly when facing unpredictable weather conditions.
