Grogol Urban Village, West Jakarta, continues its efforts to improve the quality of early childhood health. This effort is realized through health screenings for 15 toddlers held at the RW 07 Posyandu in Grogol. This comprehensive screening includes physical growth monitoring, immunization status evaluation, and regular nutritional education.

The Head of Grogol Urban Village, Ady Saputro, explained that this Posyandu activity is part of the basic healthcare services designed to be easily accessible to residents. This program specifically targets vulnerable groups such as infants, toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers in the local area.

During the activity, the toddlers underwent anthropometric measurements to precisely measure height and weight to map out the children's growth and development. In addition, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers in attendance also received special counseling sessions to support their health and that of their babies.

According to Ady, the results of this physical examination are crucial as they serve as a database for early detection of potential developmental disorders or health issues in children. Thus, medical treatment or nutritional intervention can be promptly administered if any issues are identified.

In addition to physical examinations, Posyandu workers also educated parents on the importance of balanced nutritional intake, complete basic immunization coverage, and the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS). The urban village administration also urged all residents to routinely utilize Posyandu services to protect children's health from an early age.
