Sukabumi Regency Regional General Hospital (RSUD Sekarwangi) moved quickly to help residents affected by the fire disaster in Kasepuhan Ciptamulya, Sirnaresmi Village, Cisolok District. The local state-owned hospital sent a special medical team to provide free health check-up services directly at the disaster location on Saturday (1/8/2026).
This humanitarian action was led directly by the Director of RSUD Sekarwangi, dr. H. Asep Suherman, involving 15 personnel consisting of doctors, nurses, and management. In addition to providing medical treatment, the group also brought about 60 packages of basic food items (sembako) to help meet the daily food needs of residents who are in recovery.
According to dr. H. Asep Suherman, the presence of this medical team is a tangible form of social concern from the entire RSUD Sekarwangi family. The fire disaster that burned down the traditional settlement not only caused material losses but also has the potential to disturb the physical and psychological conditions of residents due to emergency lifestyle changes after the disaster.
"We are committed to accompanying the residents during these difficult times. Through direct health check-ups, we want to ensure the physical condition of the community remains maintained, while the distributed food aid is expected to slightly ease the burden of their daily needs," said dr. Asep.
He also hoped that the Kasepuhan Ciptamulya indigenous community would always be granted fortitude and strength to rise again. RSUD Sekarwangi is committed to continuing to monitor the health developments of residents periodically during this post-disaster handling transition period.
