Kodim 0213/Nias, together with local residents, has successfully completed the construction of a concrete bridge spanning the Ndra River in Bawodesolo Village, Gunungsitoli Idanoi District, Gunungsitoli City. Measuring 13 meters long and 5 meters wide, the bridge is now fully ready for use to support community transportation activities.

This infrastructure project is part of the "Bakti TNI AD Untuk Rakyat" (Indonesian Army Service for the People) program, an initiative designed to accelerate the development of public facilities in areas requiring better accessibility. During the construction process, personnel from Koramil 01/Gunungsitoli Kodim 0213/Nias worked in close synergy with Yon TP 905/TS, Yonzipur 1/DD, and local villagers to complete the project through mutual cooperation.

This development program aligns with the central government's vision under the leadership of President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, which focuses on the equitable distribution of infrastructure development in isolated and underdeveloped regions. Through this cross-sectoral collaboration, it is hoped that the economic, educational, and public service access sectors for Nias island residents will grow faster and more evenly.

Head of Information for Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, Infantry Colonel Sandy, S.I.P., explained that the completion of this bridge serves as concrete proof of the Indonesian Army's commitment to easing the burden on the community. The presence of this sturdy concrete bridge not only provides a sense of safety when crossing, but also symbolizes the close unity between the military and the people in driving regional development.
