Anticipating the commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the Malang Kota Police organized a social action in the form of free healthcare services centered at the Malang Kota Police Headquarters (Mapolresta) yard, Friday (3/7/2026). This activity serves as a platform for the police force to provide direct medical services that are easily accessible to residents.
A total of 200 residents from various backgrounds, ranging from online motorcycle taxi drivers, students, humanitarian volunteers, to informal workers, enthusiastically participated in the series of health services. The medical team from the Malang Kota Police provided facilities for blood pressure checks, blood sugar screening, medical consultations, and preventive health education for the participants.
In addition to medical services, the Malang Kota Police also served a communal meal featuring a variety of local culinary delights such as rawon, soto, pecel, and various other dishes. A warm atmosphere of togetherness was created as the police and residents mingled to enjoy the meal in the designated area.
The Head of Public Relations of Malang Kota Police, Inspector Second Class (Ipda) Lukman Shobikin, emphasized that this initiative is a tangible effort by the National Police (Polri) to present more humanistic and inclusive services. According to him, this event is not just a health check-up, but a crucial means to build two-way communication between the police force and the community.
"We are committed to ensuring that the presence of the National Police is truly beneficial to the public. Through informal forums like this, the community is more free to convey aspirations or complaints, which will later serve as evaluation material for us to improve security and order service standards in the legal jurisdiction of Malang Kota," concluded Ipda Lukman.
