The Muhammadiyah Business Union (SUMU) of Greater Pekalongan has made a breakthrough in strengthening its members' economic network through an innovative meet-up format. In the activity held on Sunday (12/7/2026), a Fireside Chat session was organized, serving as a business matching space as well as a showcase for the business potential of Muhammadiyah cadres.
The forum was designed with a relaxed atmosphere yet remained focused on concrete business targets. Entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to share best practices and present their business development plans. This step emphasizes that the Muhammadiyah business ecosystem in the Greater Pekalongan region is now increasingly diverse, covering the food sector, professional services, information technology, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
In the food and agribusiness sector, several business units presented their potential, including Sterile Goat Milk by Slamet Priyono, PT Juara Roti Indonesia by Ahmad Reza Kurnia Rahman, PT Gembala Satu Karya owned by Taufik Ihsanudin, the Mekar Sari business by Iskandar, and the El Chicken culinary line driven by the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of Pekalongan Regency.
Meanwhile, the professional services and technology sectors were represented by innovations such as Lumiguard (Masayuki Hiroshj), Pureclean.id (Filla Sofia Wiwadja Vivaloka), PT Pranata Jagat Lestari (Ilham Firdaus), SNA Digital Agency (Fakhrus), and a computer shop business pioneered by Biyan Muhammad. This sector shows the readiness of Muhammadiyah entrepreneurs to meet the challenges of the digital era.
Business diversification was further evident in the manufacturing, retail, and infrastructure sectors with the presence of Silvermu.id and Emasmu.co.id (Achmad Zani), PT MSJ Group Indonesia (Sudiyo), Mebel Muncul Jaya (Sutantiyo), Playground equipment provider (Agus Sihono), and Ide Bagus Digital Print (Abdul Kodir). The presence of these various sectors is expected to create a mutually supportive internal supply chain.
The SUMU Secretariat emphasized that this Fireside Chat session became the main pillar of this meet-up. Through this approach, organizational meeting traditions that are usually ceremonial are transformed into a cooperation forum oriented toward real execution and strategic partnerships to drive the economy of the Ummah in a sustainable manner.
