The Commissariat Board (PK) of the Nahdlatul Ulama Students Association (IPNU) and the Female Students Association (IPPNU) of SMK NU Pamotan successfully held the Member Loyalty Period (Makesta) from Friday to Saturday (July 17–18, 2026). This annual routine agenda is designed as the initial gateway for cadre formation to nurture a young generation of Nahdliyin who possess strong character and broad insight.

During the two-day event, students received intensive training on NU values, organizational skills, leadership, and national awareness. Furthermore, digital literacy understanding served as a key pillar in this training to enable participants to filter information wisely and adapt to technological advances positively.

Advisor of PK IPNU-IPPNU SMK NU Pamotan, Abdul Hakim, stressed the importance of continuous mentoring stages in developing personal maturity and social awareness. He believes that a gradual cadre formation process matures students' leadership mentality far more effectively than producing instant cadres.

Hakim added that the dynamics of modern times require NU cadres not only to be physically resilient, but also smart in filtering information exposure in the digital space. Therefore, he encouraged participants to foster a passion for learning and continue the cadre relay to higher levels.

A similar sentiment was expressed by the Chair of the Sub-District Board (PAC) of IPPNU Pamotan, Siti Nur Rochmah. She appreciated SMK NU Pamotan's consistency in nurturing student development. Through Makesta, Rochmah hopes to cultivate a young generation capable of preserving Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah (Aswaja) traditions while excelling in mastering technology on a global scale.
