PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC) officially executed a strategic expansion move by forming a new joint venture entity focused on the auction sector. Named PT Autopedia Sukses Lelang Indonesia (ASLI), the company was established in collaboration with PT Adi Sarana Investindo.
In an official statement to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Corporate Secretary of ASLC, Armeza Farhansyah Umar, stated that the establishment of PT ASLI is part of the company's efforts to strengthen its existing auction business ecosystem. Management is optimistic that this step will contribute positively to operational performance and added value for the company in the future.
To realize the establishment of this new entity, ASLC and PT Adi Sarana Investindo made a capital injection of IDR 10 billion. The shareholding composition is dominated by ASLC at 99.999%, equivalent to IDR 9.999 billion, while PT Adi Sarana Investindo holds the remaining 0.001% stake, worth IDR 1 million.
This step further solidifies Autopedia's position in the national auction industry. Previously, the company had established a strong foothold through JBA Indonesia, in which a majority stake was acquired from Mitsui & Co in 2023. JBA itself has demonstrated successful business diversification, not only limited to the motor vehicle auction sector but also expanding into electronic goods categories.
