The Master of Public Health Study Program at Semarang State University (UNNES) held an academic surveillance event on Thursday, June 25, 2026. This step is a manifestation of the institution's commitment to maintaining sustainable higher education standards that are adaptive to developments in the health sector.

During the evaluation agenda, the study program invited assessor dr. Onny Setiani, Ph.D., to conduct an in-depth review. The main focus of this activity included assessing governance, the quality of academic services, and the effectiveness of internal quality assurance systems to ensure that every graduate possesses competitive competencies for the future.

More than just fulfilling internal standards, this surveillance process is positioned as a strategic step in supporting the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda. Through strengthening educational governance, the study program strives to achieve SDG 4 on Quality Education, while also reinforcing cross-sectoral collaboration aligned with SDG 17 on strategic partnerships.

The management of the study program hopes that the results of this evaluation process will serve as a spark of encouragement for the entire academic community to continue innovating. The synergy built is expected to make the Master of Public Health program at UNNES an increasingly superior educational program capable of making tangible contributions to public health at large.
