The Gunung Mas Regency Government has reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating regional digital transformation by extending its cooperation on the utilization of electronic certificates with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN). This strategic step was formalized in a cooperation agreement signing ceremony held at the BSSN Auditorium, Depok, on Wednesday (8/7/2026).
Representing the Regent of Gunung Mas, Jaya Samaya Monong, the Head of the Communication, Informatics, Cryptography and Statistics Office (Diskominfosantik) of Gunung Mas Regency, Ihromi Darma Putra, was present to sign the agreement. He was accompanied by the Head of the Cryptography Division of Diskominfosantik, Yunelis, to ensure the continuity of cybersecurity support for the regional government administration.
Ihromi explained that the utilization of electronic certificate technology has had a significant positive impact on the local bureaucracy. Currently, the usage rate of Electronic Signatures (TTE) in Gunung Mas has reached 72.19 percent, with 162,579 verified secure transactions recorded. This achievement is seen as clear evidence of the effectiveness of electronic-based government administration.
"The legality, authenticity, and confidentiality of documents through the services of the BSSN National Electronic Certification Center (BSrE) are the main pillars that must continue to be maintained. This cooperation not only reduces the use of physical documents but also strengthens public trust in accountable and modern public governance," Ihromi added.
Through this ongoing partnership, the Gunung Mas Regency Government aims to create a more efficient, integrated, and responsive bureaucratic ecosystem. Strengthening the cybersecurity aspect is a priority to ensure that public service access for the citizens of Gunung Mas Regency remains protected with high security standards amidst an increasingly complex digital era.
