BPJS Kesehatan has officially introduced the Layanan Ujung Negeri (LANURI) program as a strategic step to ensure equal access to the National Health Insurance (JKN) across Indonesia. This program is an integral part of the 100-day work target of the BPJS Kesehatan Board of Directors to address geographical challenges in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T) regions.

In its implementation, LANURI integrates two main approaches: the Virtual Office for Information and Administration Services (VIOLA), which is based on video teleconferencing, and mobile outreach services through BPJS Keliling. Through VIOLA, the public can now interact directly with BPJS Kesehatan officers for administrative needs, information inquiries, and complaint handling without having to travel long distances to branch offices.

President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Prihati Pujowaskito, emphasized that this system has been tested with significant results. Throughout the period from January to May 2026, a total of 218,729 uses of the VIOLA service were recorded, predominantly by participants of the National Health Insurance Premium Subsidy (PBI JK) program through coordination points in health facilities and local government offices.

Recognizing the technology infrastructure gaps in several regions, BPJS Kesehatan continues to prioritize conventional services through BPJS Keliling as a companion to the digital channel. This effort is made to ensure that internet network issues and limited digital literacy among the public do not become obstacles to obtaining their health insurance rights.

To date, the LANURI program has reached 558 points across various regencies/cities involving 126 branch offices. The service distribution consists of 179 BPJS Keliling operational points and 379 VIOLA service points, which are expected to sustainably improve the efficiency and reach of public services in Indonesia.
