Permata Bank actively encourages the involvement of the younger generation in future economic development through the Road to Permata INSPIRE event series. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with Katadata Green and several universities, aims to strengthen students' capacity in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles as well as mastery of technology-based innovation.

Division Head of Corporate Relation & CSER at Permata Bank, Melinda Hoesain, emphasized that this program is designed as a platform for collaboration among industry, academia, and the community. This step was taken to foster solution-oriented ideas relevant to addressing global challenges, while preparing an adaptive, inclusive, and sustainability-conscious younger generation.

This talent development carries high urgency given Indonesia's Net Zero Emission target by 2060. In addition, the need for 12 million digital talents by 2030 demands an increase in the competence of the younger generation so that the national economy's competitiveness remains intact on the international stage.

In its implementation, Permata Bank held a discussion titled 'ESG for Tomorrow Leaders' at Multimedia Nusantara University, highlighting the importance of sustainable governance in business decision-making. Meanwhile, at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Permata Bank's Technology Director, Ahmad Mikail Madjid, stressed the crucial role of technology in creating innovations that are more adaptive and beneficial to the broader public.

Through this cross-sector synergy, Permata Bank is committed to strengthening the national innovation ecosystem. It is hoped that this program will produce future leaders who not only focus on economic growth, but are also able to accelerate sustainable and globally competitive development.
