PT PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Ternate has recently inaugurated the power capacity upgrade at the Bobong Regional General Hospital (RSUD Bobong), Taliabu Island Regency, North Maluku. This strategic step was taken to ensure a more stable energy supply for vital healthcare facilities in the island region.
General Manager of PLN Maluku and North Maluku Regional Office, Noer Soeratmoko, emphasized that the new power energization of 725,000 VA under the S2 tariff rate is a concrete manifestation of the company's commitment to safeguarding the public sector. Given the challenging geographical conditions of Taliabu Island, a reliable electricity supply is a crucial pillar to ensure hospital operations remain uninterrupted.
This capacity increase allows the hospital to operate various modern medical devices more optimally without concern over power supply constraints. Manager of PLN UP3 Ternate, Mufid Arianto, added that this support is a priority for strategic customers directly connected to the basic needs of the broader community, especially in supporting patient medical readiness.
RSUD Bobong welcomed this PLN initiative. Hospital representative Waty expressed that the additional power is vital for the development of their medical services. Responsive electrical infrastructure support from PLN is expected to boost operational efficiency and the quality of healthcare services for all residents of Taliabu Island Regency moving forward.
As part of its service transformation, PLN continues to encourage the public and institutions to utilize the PLN Mobile application as the primary digital channel. Through the platform, various electricity-related matters can be accessed faster, more transparently, and more efficiently.
