Berau Police have once again strengthened their relationship with the community through a social initiative titled 'Warung Berkah'. The event, held in the yard of the Tanjung Redeb Sector Police Headquarters (Mako Polsek), aimed to make a real impact on local residents by providing free food and complimentary health check services.
This activity was led directly by the Head of Human Resources of Berau Police, Police Commissioner (Kompol) Herman, S.Pd.I., M.H., involving various elements, including Berau Police personnel, policewomen (Polwan), Sidokkes (Police Medicine and Health Section) staff, Tanjung Redeb Sector Police personnel, and local police partners.
Police Commissioner Herman stated that Warung Berkah is a tangible manifestation of the National Police's (Polri) commitment to always be present and provide direct benefits to the community. According to him, this program is not just physical aid, but also an effort by the police to build a humanistic institutional image and strengthen ties with the residents.
Furthermore, this initiative is part of the implementation of the 'Polri for the Community' program, which emphasizes inclusive services and social care. The police hope that through this activity, synergy between law enforcement officers and residents can be maintained to create a safe, healthy, and harmonious environment.
