The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police have recently uncovered an illegal operation producing electronic cigarette liquid (vape liquid) containing cannabis. The raid on the home industry location marks a firm step by the police to break the chain of drug trafficking within the airport authority area.
During the operation, officers discovered evidence in the form of banned raw materials and sophisticated equipment used by the perpetrators to produce vape liquid on a large scale. Based on initial findings, this syndicate has been operating for a significant period and has managed to reap profits reaching billions of rupiah.
The police stated that the uncovering of this case resulted from the development of an intensive investigation into drug distribution patterns through illegal cargo channels. Currently, investigators are still looking into the involvement of other parties and distribution networks targeting vape users in various regions.
