The Bojonegoro Regency Sports Week (Porkab) II 2026 has officially come to an end. The closing ceremony of this prestigious regional sporting event took place solemnly at the Pendopo Malowopati on Friday (10/7/2026), and was attended directly by the Regent of Bojonegoro, Setyo Wahono.
The Vice Chairman of KONI Bojonegoro Regency, Tonny Ade Irawan, stated that the organization of this year's Porkab showed a positive trend. According to him, there was a significant distribution of achievements across various districts, which serves as clear proof of the success of the sports development program in Bojonegoro Regency.
"Porkab is a strategic platform for local athletes to test their abilities and scout for top talents. The hope is that these talents can continue to be nurtured to achieve higher success at the provincial and national levels," Tonny explained.
Based on the final standings, Bojonegoro District secured the overall champion title with 35 gold, 22 silver, and 24 bronze medals, totaling 208 points. Following in second place was Dander District with 105 points, followed by Trucuk District in third place with 74 points.
Rounding out the top five, Kapas District took fourth place with 72 points, while the fifth spot was secured by Sugihwaras District with 71 points. The success of this event is expected to strengthen the culture of sportsmanship and competitive spirit among the people of Bojonegoro.
