PT Esa Medika Mandiri Tbk (EMMI) officially began a new chapter as a public company after completing its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday (8/7/2026). This strategic move marks an important milestone for the company to strengthen its business foundation and enhance competitiveness in the national medical device industry.
President Director of EMMI, Florian Chris Widjaja, revealed that the proceeds from the public offering will be optimally allocated to support business expansion and strengthen the company's working capital. As a public company, EMMI is fully committed to prioritizing good corporate governance, information transparency, and high accountability to maintain stakeholder trust.
In this corporate action, EMMI successfully raised IDR 245.74 billion by releasing 522,857,000 shares to the public. The initial offering price was set at IDR 470 per share, giving a market capitalization of IDR 819.14 billion. Investor enthusiasm was clearly visible on the first day of trading, where EMMI's share price saw a significant rise of 15.96 percent to IDR 545 per share.
Since its establishment in 2000, the company engaged in trading laboratory, pharmaceutical, and medical equipment has traveled a long journey in fulfilling the needs of the healthcare sector. Florian emphasized that the IPO is not merely an end goal, but a catalyst for the company to continue growing sustainably and make a greater contribution to building an independent medical device ecosystem in Indonesia.
