The Magetan Regency Government, through the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports (Dikpora), held a Grand Assembly of School Principals at GOR Ki Mageti on Thursday (9/7/2026). This event serves as a strategic step to align the vision and mission of all educational unit heads ahead of the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year.
Carrying the theme “Integrity Leadership, Quality Schools, and Smart Students”, the assembly was led directly by the Head of Dikpora Magetan Regency, Suhardi. This forum was designed to consolidate school managerial governance so that students' transitions to higher levels of education proceed effectively and in a structured manner.
The Regent of Magetan, Bunda Nanik, in her directives emphasized the importance of school principals' roles as the front line in educational services. She instructed every school in Magetan to be able to create a learning environment that is not only academically superior, but also safe, clean, inclusive, and comfortable for students.
Furthermore, Bunda Nanik stressed that this assembly represents a joint commitment to enhancing the quality of regional education. She expressed hope that school leaders would be able to foster positive character and high learning motivation in their respective educational environments before effective teaching and learning activities begin.
As a form of appreciation for the field of education, the event also featured the presentation of awards to high-achieving students in the Magetan Regency area. The presentation of these awards is expected to motivate students to continue striving for achievement in the future.
