The Lampung Regional Police Brimob Unit achieved a brilliant performance at the prestigious 7th Kapolri Cup Championship 2026, held from July 9 to 12, 2026. The personnel demonstrated physical excellence and high discipline through their dominance in Kyorugi martial arts.
Several athletes from the unit reached the top of the podium. Brigadier Jaja Perwiro from Pioneer Battalion A won first place in the Men's Senior Kyorugi U-74 Plot A category. A similar achievement was attained by Second Brigadier Muhammad Arsyad Dandi Putra in the U-68 category, while Second Brigadier Genlin Nurhuda Lingga from the Gegana Detachment won the U-74 Plot B category. Meanwhile, Second Brigadier Anang Maulana from Pioneer Battalion C brought home a silver medal in the U-63 Plot C category.
Commander of the Lampung Regional Police Brimob Unit, Yustanto Mujiharso, expressed high appreciation for his personnel's achievements. According to him, this success is clear proof that Brimob personnel are not only formidable in maintaining public order and security, but also possess strong athletic capabilities on the national stage.
This year's Kapolri Cup Championship is seen as a key moment to foster sportsmanship and enhance the physical fitness of National Police members.
