The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense (Sekjen Kemhan), Lieutenant General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, conducted a direct inspection of the implementation of the SPPI 2026 State Defense Briefing Program at the Air Defense Artillery Education Center (Pusdikarhanud) Education Unit in Malang, East Java, on Friday (3/7/2026). This visit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the program's execution to ensure it continues to run professionally while prioritizing the safety and health of the participants.

Upon arrival at the location, the Secretary General of the MoD received a comprehensive report from the Commander of Pusdikarhanud, Brigadier General TNI Made Suryawan, regarding educational progress, infrastructure readiness, and the preparedness of medical personnel. In response to the report, the Secretary General emphasized the importance of proactive supervision through the implementation of a buddy system, strict management of rest times, and adjusting physical intensity according to the health condition of each participant.

In line with quality monitoring efforts, Lt. Gen. TNI Tri Budi Utomo inspected the feasibility of supporting facilities, ranging from classrooms and barracks to communal kitchens. This step was taken to ensure all available facilities meet the standards required to create an educational environment that supports the health and comfort of participants throughout the program.

On this occasion, the Secretary General of the MoD also provided strategic guidance to the program participants. He encouraged all participants to instill leadership, integrity, and a spirit of mutual cooperation as the main foundation for contributing to nation-building. Looking out for one another through a peer-mentoring system was a crucial message emphasized to ensure that any health issues can be addressed more quickly.

This activity serves as evidence of the Ministry of Defense's commitment to refining the implementation of the SPPI 2026 State Defense Briefing Program in a humane and adaptive manner. Through on-field supervision, this program is expected to produce resilient human resources with strong character and high loyalty to national interests.
