The utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) is now penetrating Indonesian classrooms, bringing a paradigm shift in teaching and learning interactions. This technology is now relied upon as a supporting instrument for educators to compile creative teaching materials, design precise evaluations, and create interactive learning media capable of capturing students' attention.

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education continues to encourage this digital transformation as part of preparation to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This step is viewed as crucial so that the younger generation is not only digitally capable, but also possesses strong critical thinking and collaborative abilities amidst the rapid development of the Society 5.0 era.

One of the tangible contributions of AI is reducing the administrative burden that has long consumed teachers' time. With the automation of routine tasks such as preparing teaching materials or processing grades, educators now have more space to interact personally with students. The main focus remains on mentoring students, as technology can never replace the teacher's role as a role model and character builder.

The government emphasizes that AI must be positioned merely as a tool. Pedagogical decisions, instilling moral values, and understanding student psychology remain the full authority of the teacher. This collaboration aims to create an effective learning environment without sidelining the fundamental human aspects of education.

Although the potential of AI is immense, the reality on the ground still faces the challenge of digital infrastructure access disparities between regions in Indonesia. Furthermore, digital literacy and the ethical use of technology remain urgent homework so that students do not fall into instant dependency that could blunt their critical reasoning.

Adapting to technology is no longer just a trend, but a strategic necessity in realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision. Through the strengthening of technology-based curricula paired with ethical mentoring, the collaboration between teachers and artificial intelligence is projected to become a strong foundation for producing superior, character-driven, and innovative human resources.
