The Buleleng Regency Government welcomes the initiative of the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) Buleleng Branch to hold mass sports activities. The organization of the Simultaneous Fun Walk and the IKPI Buleleng Cup 3x3 Basketball Competition is seen as a breath of fresh air in efforts to strengthen the sport tourism sector in the North Bali region.

This support was directly expressed by the Vice Regent of Buleleng and General Chairman of KONI Buleleng, Gede Supriatna, during an audience with the management of the IKPI Buleleng Branch led by I Made Susila Darma on Monday (27/7/2026). The meeting was also attended by representatives of KONI Buleleng, Perbasi Buleleng, and the organizing committee from the Callef Seririt Basketball Club.

The Chairman of the IKPI Buleleng Branch, I Made Susila Darma, expressed his gratitude for the appreciation shown by the Vice Regent. He explained that although IKPI is a professional association in the taxation field, care for public fitness and regional promotion remains one of the organization's focuses. This step is expected to attract domestic tourists to exercise while enjoying the natural beauty of Buleleng.

Further, Gede Supriatna hopes that the participants who attend will not only actively participate in the sports event but also take time to explore local tourist destinations. The presence of participants from outside the region is expected to trigger positive economic rotation for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as well as the tourism industry in Buleleng.

The series of celebrations for the 61st anniversary of IKPI received a positive response from the public, with a significant surge in the number of participants. The Simultaneous Fun Walk is projected to be joined by around 300 participants after receiving additional support from KONI Buleleng, while the 3x3 Basketball Competition has secured the participation of at least 70 athletes. The synergy between IKPI, KONI, and Perbasi is expected to make this agenda successful, which aims to strengthen relationships while advancing regional sports.
