PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KAI Commuter) has officially taken an innovative step to enhance passenger travel comfort by conducting a trial installation of air purification devices powered by Nanoe X technology. Adopted from Japanese transportation operational standards, this initiative aims to create cleaner, healthier, and fresher air circulation within Commuter Line train cabins.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda, stated that this move is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to applying Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The main focus of implementing this technology is to create a more user-friendly transit environment while reducing the risk of pollutant spread in public spaces.

The working mechanism of Nanoe X technology is considered highly effective due to its ability to inhibit the growth of mold, viruses, bacteria, and invisible micro-dust particles. Additionally, the device is claimed to neutralize unpleasant odors inside train interiors, providing a significantly more hygienic travel experience for the public using mass transit.

For the initial phase, KAI Commuter installed the devices on one JR205 (SF12) commuter train set serving the Bogor route. Management is currently conducting an in-depth evaluation of the equipment's performance and effectiveness in the field before deciding on a broader implementation across the entire fleet.

One of the main advantages of Nanoe X technology is its high durability and self-release system, making the device low maintenance. With even air distribution across all corners of the cabin, KAI Commuter hopes this innovation will offer a sense of safety and comfort for all loyal Commuter Line passengers in the future.
