Modena officially announced a shift in its business strategy at the IndoBuildTech 2026 event held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. Long known as a market leader in kitchen appliances, the company is now evolving into a provider of comprehensively integrated smart living solutions.
Teddy Wijaya, Vice President of Marketing at Modena, emphasized that this shift is the company's proactive response to the dynamic needs of modern living, which demand efficiency, connectivity, and convenience. Modena's focus is no longer limited to kitchen hardware, but has expanded toward an ecosystem based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, digital payment systems via Modena Pay, and sustainable energy solution management.
At the exhibition, Modena showcased various latest innovations, including the Smart Built-in Induction Hob connected to the Modena Seamless application. This technology enables the hob to automatically adjust cooking temperature and duration based on selected digital recipe guides, creating a far more precise and practical cooking experience.
The integration of services such as Modena Energy and subscription systems also represents new pillars introduced by the company to strengthen customer loyalty. With an interconnected ecosystem, Modena is committed to delivering a living experience that is not only sophisticated, but also environmentally friendly and makes daily household management easier for residents.
