SRAGEN – To instill a mindset of independence and an entrepreneurial spirit from the elementary school age, group 72 of the Student Community Service (KKN) program from Slamet Riyadi University (UNISRI) Surakarta organized the "Little Entrepreneur School" program. This educational activity took place at SD N 1 Jati, Sumberlawang District, Sragen Regency, on Tuesday (21/7) morning, involving 5th-grade students.

This program was specifically designed to align with the theme of UNISRI's Community Empowerment Learning (PPM) KKN, which focuses on village empowerment to support economic independence. Through a practical and simple Management discipline approach, the students provided an understanding of the business potential of self-made creative works.

During the training session, students were taught skills in making handicrafts made from beads, such as bracelets and keychains. The KKN students guided the process step by step, from color selection to assembling attractive patterns. This activity was designed not only to hone creativity but also to train patience and motor precision in children.

High enthusiasm was shown by the students during the activity. One student expressed their joy at being able to learn to produce their own handicrafts while understanding that their creations have potential selling value for the future.

Through this "Little Entrepreneur School" initiative, it is hoped that children in Jati Village will grow into a confident generation with a foundation of creative thinking. The entrepreneurial mindset instilled from an early age is projected to become an important asset in supporting the sustainable economic independence of the village community.
