PT Astra International Tbk has officially opened registration for young innovators to compete in the 17th edition of the SATU Indonesia Awards 2026. This program is specifically designed to reach creative youth across the nation who have initiatives with a positive impact in health, education, environment, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Carrying the theme "Connected in Action," Astra emphasizes its commitment to not only providing appreciation but also expanding the reach of benefits from the projects initiated by participants. This strategic step is carried out through collaboration with various stakeholders, including inspiration sessions with social activists who have successfully run empowerment projects in their respective communities.
Boy Kelana Soebroto, Chief of Corporate Affairs at Astra, stated that the company believes there is still much untapped potential among young people who are highly dedicated to their surrounding environment. This program is expected to serve as an accelerator for young innovators to scale their impact through funding support, ongoing mentorship, and synergy with the Desa Sejahtera Astra ecosystem.
One testament to the program's success is reflected in the figure of Ritno Kurniawan, an ecotourism pioneer who successfully changed the mindset of communities in West Sumatra. Thanks to his initiative, residents who previously relied on logging are now actively involved in managing a sustainable tourism area, involving more than 100 people in its operations.
For young people wishing to register their best works or initiatives, registration remains open until July 28, 2026, via the official website www.satu-indonesia.com. Winners will receive activity grant funding of IDR 65 million and the opportunity to expand their collaboration networks at the national level.
