Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, firmly denied any connection to a cafe business located in the Cipete area, South Jakarta. Febrie delivered this clarification directly at the Attorney General's Office Round Building in Jakarta on Friday (10/7/2026), following rampant social media speculation regarding searches conducted by a joint police team.
Previously, a joint team from the Police Corruption Crime Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) and the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya) targeted 13 different locations across Jakarta, South Tangerang, and Bogor Regency starting Wednesday (8/7/2026). The search targets encompassed various properties, ranging from corporate offices and private residences to apartment units.
Febrie confirmed that his private residence located in the Parahyangan Golf II area, Sentul City, was included in the list of locations searched by investigators. Nevertheless, he ensured that money found during the process had clear origins and could be legally accounted for. He also called on the public to remain calm and await official results from investigators.
On that occasion, Febrie stated his commitment to fully support the law enforcement process carried out by the National Police. He emphasized the importance of respecting the work of fellow law enforcement officers so that the truth can be revealed transparently to the public.
On the other hand, the Jakarta Metropolitan Police through Head of Public Relations Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto disclosed that this series of searches was a step to delve deeper into three overlapping alleged corruption cases. These cases cover alleged corruption in coal supply that triggered power outages, management of PT ASABRI funds, and the settlement of PT CBS's debt to PT KNI. As of now, witness examinations and evidence analysis remain ongoing with no new suspects announced.
