The Junior Attorney for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, has officially dismissed reports linking him to a cafe business in the Cipete area, South Jakarta. The location was previously searched by investigators from the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police's Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation and the National Police's Corruption Eradication Corps.
In a statement at the Attorney General's Office on Friday (10/7/2026), Febrie expressed his full support for the ongoing legal proceedings. He emphasized the importance of respecting the police investigators' authority so that facts on the ground can be disclosed transparently and accountably to the public.
“Regarding the narrative circulating on social media, I emphasize that Jampidsus has no connection to that business. Let us just await the official investigation results so that everything becomes clear,” Febrie asserted. He also addressed rumors about the discovery of money at a location in Sentul, ensuring that all seized evidence has verifiable owners and legal accountability that can be proven in due course.
The search at the de'Clan cafe in Cipete is part of a series of law enforcement operations spanning 13 different locations across Jakarta, South Tangerang, and Bogor Regency. This action is allegedly linked to investigations into major cases, including the Asabri and Jiwasraya scandals, as well as coal mining cases currently being handled by law enforcement agencies.
