CILEGON – The dry season hitting the Cilegon area has triggered difficulties in accessing clean water in several hilly areas. Responding to these conditions, the Sayang Cilegon Community distributed 16,000 liters of clean water aid to residents in the Gunung Batur 1 and Gunung Batur 2 neighborhoods, Pulomerak District, Cilegon City, on Sunday (2/8/2026).

The aid was distributed using two tank truck units directly to residential areas. Since morning, local residents appeared enthusiastic, queuing orderly with buckets, jerry cans, and various other water containers to get the free clean water supply.

The founder of the Sayang Cilegon Community, Adi Sudrajat, expressed that clean water is a crucial basic need for daily life. Through this concrete action, his community is committed to consistently helping ease the burden on people struggling due to the impact of extreme weather.

He also added that this social action is expected to spark a spirit of mutual cooperation and inspire various parties to collaborate. According to him, a strong synergy between volunteer groups, the community, and policymakers is the main key to providing rapid solutions for residents in need of humanitarian assistance.
